Today, January 29, on the day of the 101st anniversary of Battle of Kruty, historical film “Kruty 1918” will be shown in Kyiv for the first time. This reports press service of State Film Agency.
The preview will take place for the press only.
The premiere will be held at Kyiv Cinema theatre. In addition to the actors who played the main roles – Evhen Lamaha, Nadiia Koverska and Oleksiy Tritenko, the event will be attended by Minister of Culture of Ukraine Yevhen Nyshchuk, Chairman of State Film Agency of Ukraine Philip Ilyenko, director of the film Oleksiy Shaparev and the scriptwriter Konstantin Konovalov.
The plot of the film “Kruty 1918” is based on the real story of the battle at Kruty railway station in the winter of 1918, when 400 Ukrainian students and high-school students became against the many thousands of Bolsheviks.
On February 7, 2019 the movie will be released to wide screens.
Previously, "Journalist" reported, that at a charity concert in New York raised funds for the wounded Ukrainian soldiers.
