Yesterday, October 10, the opening of the art project «Twelve Years Together» was held at National Museum of Taras Shevchenko, within which 80 canvases of 30 Ukrainian artists are presented. About this writes Ukrinform.
The project was organized by Sofia-A Publishing House.
It is known that the exhibition was placed in six rooms. The exhibition includes paintings by Maria Primachenko, Viktor Zaretskiy, Onuphrius Bizyukov, Andrii Antonyuk, Viktor Gontariv, Boris Plaksia, Mykola Maksymenko and others.
The name of the exhibition explains the long-term cooperation between the museum and the publisher. The head of Sophia-A, Maxym Melnik, spoke about this. The first exhibition, in which the works of 25 artists were exhibited, was presented in 2006 – then a series of paintings «Our time is our space» was offered to the attention of visitors.
Today the collection of paintings is kept in the aforementioned publishing house and has more than 300 paintings.
Event initiators are invited to visit the exhibition until October 21.
