The new updated 20-hryvnia banknote has been introduced in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine.
The 20-hryvnia banknote of 2018 year issue has become a legal tender from September 25. It will be putting into circulation simultaneously with the 20-hryvnias banknotes of 2003 year issue. It is noted that Ukrainians do not need to exchange old-style banknotes for new ones.
In total about 60 million banknotes with a nominal value of UAH 20 will be printed this year.
As The Journalist reported, the National Bank introduced updated 20-hryvnia banknote, which was put into circulation on September 25.
