Monument to Holocaust victims is established in Odessa oblast

In Savran village a monument to the victims of Holocaust was set up at Jewish cemetery.About this informs the press service of Savranskiy regional state administration.

It is reported that on November 18 in the regional center Savran (Odessa oblast) opened a monument to the victims of Holocaust.
The report notes that the monument was installed at a Jewish cemetery at the expense of former prisoners of the ghetto – members of the Odessa Regional Association of Jews – former prisoners of the ghetto and the Nazi camps.

According to the director of the Odessa Holocaust Museum in Odessa, Pavlo Kozlenko, the monument was opened 77 years after the deportation of the Savranski Jews from the ghetto.
Earlier «Journalist» reported that in Kamianets-Podilskyi there was a handicap they desecrated Holocaust Memorial to Nazi swastika.
