According to press-service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine (Ministry of Agrarian Policy), as of today, August 13th, in seven oblasts of Ukraine already harvested early grain crops.
Harvest, in particular, was collected in Zaporozhia, Kyrovograd, Mykolayiv, Odessa, Kherson, Poltava and Zakarpattia oblasts.
«In general, the country collected early grain and leguminous crops on an area of 9.5 million hectares (96% of the forecast) with a yield of 34.6 centners per hectare, 33 million tons of new grain harvested.
In addition, 2.5 million tons of winter rape were harvested from 967,000 hectares (99%) with a yield of 26.4 centners per hectare and 61,000 tons of spring rapeseed from 29,000 hectares (44 per cent) with a yield of 20.9 centners / ha», press service of Ministry of Agrarian Policy said.
