Fox Searchlight company, on its YouTube channel, published the first teaser trailer for the Tolkien biographical drama about the famous writer, “The Lord of the Rings” author J.R.R. Tolkien.
The film tells about the young years of the writer, in particular, will show the story of a young orphan, who, being an outcast, finds friends, love and inspiration for creativity during his studies.
In the film, the events against the backdrop of the First World War and the participation of Tolkien in it on the side of the British army will be shown. It was this time that inspired him to create the "Lord of the Rings."
It is known that the actor Nicholas Holt starred in the role of the writer. Also in the film were Lily Collins, Genevieve O’Reilly, Derek Jacoby, Pam Ferris, Laura Donnelly and others.
