Director of the Department of Social Policy, Yurii Krikunov, said that the Kyiv citizen card will become the only mechanism for the beneficiaries registration system in urban public transport. This was reported by the press service of the KCSA.
With the help of the municipal card, each preferential trip will be fixed and, in turn, will improve the quality of control over the use of budget funds and the accuracy of forecasting passenger traffic.
“Kyiv is still the only city in Ukraine that provides funds for reimbursement of preferential travel. Today, the Kyiv citizen card is the only mechanism that allows you to count number of passengers who use right to travel for free. Thus, on the basis of these data, carriers will be able to receive full compensation for the transportation of beneficiaries,” said Krikunov.
As The Journalist reported, new turnstiles, installed in the Kyiv metro recently, were closed.
