In capital, on Shevchenko Boulevard, marking was started and appropriate signs were put on the roadway for public transport. About this writes Social Portal with reference to the press service of the communal enterprise Center for Organization of Road Traffic.

«Distribution of allocated bands should increase both speed of trolley and buses, and attractiveness of public transport, as an alternative to the use of a personal car», said enterprise director Viktor Cherniy.

According to employees of municipal enterprise, a new law on parking rules, which is especially relevant in traffic conditions in central part of the city, should contribute to optimal functioning of public transportation lanes
As previously reported by The Journalist, Estonia became the first country in the EU where free long-distance travel was established.
