Ukrainian Fashion Week FW 19-20 launches in Kyiv

Today, on Feb. 1, Ukrainian Fashion Week new season starts at Mystetskyi Arsenal (Art Arsenal) in Kyiv, Segodnya.ua reports.
The Ukrainian Fashion Week new season will surprise with diversity since 50 designer brands, 39 shows, 10 presentations, 4 special projects, 6 lectures and public discussions will be presented there.
“The dynamic development of creative industries has become powerful trend for recent times. Ukrainian Fashion Week was (and remains) one of the most important platforms, which every season demonstrates the high level of development of these industries in Ukraine. Ukrainian Fashion Week continues to be the site of numerous cross-disciplinary experiments. Cinema, visual art, choreography, IT-technologies, sound-design, media art will ‘feel’ comfortable in the fashion territory and will surprise with unexpected alliances and releases,” said Volodymyr Nechyporuk, Ukrainian Fashion Week’s producer.
This season, the Ukrainian Fashion Week organizing committee invited Business of Fashion (UK), Vogue Italia, Vogue.com (USA), Vogue Poland, Vogue Russia, Fucking Young! Journalists to Kiev. (Spain), Harpers Bazaar (UK), NOWFASHION (France), VEIN Magazine (Spain), Supremeye (Belgium) editions. The shows will also include buyers from ASOS (UK), Uggla (Japan). Show and guests will be filmed by Getty Images, NSS Magazine (Spain), Runway Manhattan (USA), Street Style Planet Earth (UK).
