In the Konotop City Council (Sumy Oblast), during the session a massive fight between the supporters of the acting mayor and his opponents has occurred. At least 50 people were detained. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of the Sumy Oblast.
It is reported, that the conflict happened between supporters and opponents of the incumbent mayor.
As a result, police officers managed to separate the conflicting sides, the 50 most active violators were detained and then taken to the local Police department.
It is noted that during the fight four law enforcement officers were injured.
As it became known, the Police has started criminal proceeding over the events at the session of the Konotop City Council.
