Some 16,805 advertising structures were dismantled in Kyiv during 2018

The deputy chairman of the KCSA, Valentin Mondriyevskiy, said that about 16,805 advertising structures were dismantled in 2018, which is twice as large compared to 2017. This was reported by the press service of the KCSA.
According to Mondriyevskiy, the 2018 was effective year for the city’s outdoor advertising and not only in terms of its dismantling.

“At the beginning of the year, the Ground Advertising Scheme in Kyiv was approved and started to operate; on the initiative of our Advertising Office changes were amended laws regulating outdoor advertising throughout Ukraine. We put mobile advertising, the so-called ‘carts’, in order. Thanks to the Office for Advertising’s work, a decision on introducing the ‘autodial’ system for distributors of illegal ads, who placed it at all the pillars and houses, was made. By the way, this system will start working in the coming months,” the deputy chairperson of the KCSA noted.
