More than 30 thousand Ukrainians, among them famous political and state figures, scholars, artists and representatives of various Christian denominations, participate in the creation of a manuscript Bible. About this reports Censor.net.
According to the project of Ukrainian Bible Society, anyone can write one of the poems of Holy Scripture in the sheets prepared in advance, from which they will later form a hand-written Bible.
So, Oleksandr Turchynov, secretary of National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, took part in the All-Ukrainian rewriting of the Bible.
“It is symbolic that Ukrainians from different parts of our state will be united by the word that bears Truth and Love,” said the NSDC Secretary of Ukraine.
Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that President of Ukraine met with representatives of UOC in the United States.
