United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has calculated how many false vaccination certificates are issued in Ukraine. This is reported by the «Radio Liberty».
UNICEF reported that almost 30% of the number of certificates of vaccination in Ukraine is false while vaccination rates in Ukraine are quite low.
«It is possible to remove this false certificates … but if doing that with a «power» method of vaccination, it could lead to even greater growth of false documentation», – said UNICEF medical expert Ekaterina Bulavinova.
Due to the measles outbreak in Ukraine, vaccination coverage has significantly increased.
«People were standing in line to get vaccinated. By the end of the year coverage of vaccination was about 95-97%. Despite false certificates, coverage has increased», – said Bulavinova.
Recall that Ukraine had temporarily banned the vaccine against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis, a vaccine for the prevention of poliomyelitis and the paste for oral use.
As «The Journalist» earlier reported, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has approved a new vaccine against typhoid.
