The number of alimony debtors in Ukraine has decreased by 12% over the past nine months, Opendatabot reports.
In particular, from January to November 2018, UAH 4.1 billion alimony was collected in favor of children, whereas UAH 2.1 billion in the same period of 2017. Then the pace of payments decreased slightly. However, the dynamics remain positive. At the same time, it is noted that there are a number of problematic moments in the law. In particular, not all debtors were really forbidden to go abroad. In addition, government sanctions do not affect those parents who do not have enough money to pay alimony.
