The person, who in the 1980s was participating in test program of the Novichok poison, which figures in Skripals poisoning case, was identified in Ukraine. This is reported by Hromadske news agency.
It became known, that this person was serving in the army then and voluntarily participated in the experiment. He was told that there would be no negative consequences for health.
«The experiments were made within the framework of the «Folio» program conducted by the USSR Ministry of Defense. Volunteer claims that the name «Novichok» is most likely the common name for all substances that were tested on humans under this program,» – the report said.
It is noted that the man has inhaled the Novichok pairs, being in a special cell. At the same time, scientists were controlling the concentration of the substance and fixing its state before and after he inhaled the substance.
