Over 16,000 cars with European registration plates were cleared through customs in Ukraine

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine issued 16,500 vehicles with foreign registration under new preferential conditions from Nov 25, 2018 to Jan 2, 2019 inclusively, the press service of the SFS informs.
The source reports that almost 14,000 vehicles out of the total number of customs cars were violating the requirements of the Customs Code of Ukraine, being on territory of Ukraine, for which the owners voluntarily paid almost UAH 119 million (UAH 8,500 for each car).
The report notes that the most active citizens, who cleared up vehicles, are from the city of Kyiv – 3,037 cars, Volyn oblast – 2,642 cars, Chernivtsi oblast – 2,058 cars and Zakarpattia oblast – 1,137 cars.
As The Journalist reported, traffic has been completely block on the Metro Bridge in Kyiv.
