The State Aviation Service has established restrictions on flights of remotely piloted aircraft (drones – ed.) which weight is up to two kilograms. In particular, it is forbidden to fly near to places of mass gathering of people. In addition, it is forbidden to fly drones over correctional centers, colonies and detention units as well as objects under protection, lists of which are determined by the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Border Service, the Security Service, the National Police, the National Guard, other military and law enforcement agencies. It is also forbidden to fly over «other important state and potentially dangerous objects», but their list and criteria in the text are not indicated.
The ban on flights extends to the places of accidents and catastrophes, zones of special operations, including police, the zone of environmental protection, and the zone «to ensure the safety of persons on whom state protection is carried out».
