State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drug Control made a decision to return in circulation the «Tiopental» (the drug for general anesthesia), the use of which was forbidden earlier. This is reported by the press center of the State Service.
After a series of researches on all indicators of quality control methods, the popular anesthetic drug «Tiopental» was returned to circulation.
A temporary ban on the «Tiopental» 167106 series (lyophilizate for the preparation of injection solutions for 1.0 g in bottles), produced by OJSC «Kyivmedpreparat», was imposed on March 29 in connection with the death of the patient after using this medication.
As «The Journalist» earlier reported, Ukraine banned the popular cough syrup.
