The locomotive will travel for the first time on the Ukrainian railroad and will pass road tests in real conditions. About this reports the head of Ukrzaliznytsia Evhen Kravtsov on his Facebook page.

According to Kravtsov, on November 8, the General Electric locomotive will begin tests in real conditions on the Ukrainian railway.
The train will travel a distance of 150 km as part of a freight train on the Kremenchug-Romodan section.

«The new locomotive will be led by a locomotive crew from the Melitopol depot. The guys studied the specifics of operating the TE33AS in Kazakhstan», said the head of Ukrzaliznytsia.

Earlier «Journalist» reported that Ukrzaliznytsia bought 30 locomotives from General Electric at a price of $ 4.68 million per unit.
