In Ukraine there have been 99 outbreaks of African swine fever

Since the beginning of 2018 Ukraine has recorded 99 outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF). About this it is reported on the site STOP ASF.

Since the beginning of this year the greatest number of outbreaks have been recorded in the Odessa and Poltava oblasts – 55 and 41, respectively. Next comes Chernihiv oblast – 31 cases. The least of all ASF was in the Lviv oblast – only 1 case. Also in the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast recorded 3 cases, in Zhytomyr – 5 cases.
It is noted that in 57 cases the disease was registered in domestic animals, in 34 cases in wild animals.
