Among economically active population in Ukraine in second quarter of 2018 number of unemployed citizens decreased by 0.8% and amounted to 8.3%. According to State Statistics Service of Ukraine, this is the lowest rate since 2015. This is reported on official website of the administration.
According to information provided, number of unemployed people in Ukraine at the age of 15-70 years in second quarter of 2018 amounted to 1.5 million people, and number of employed population of corresponding age is 16.5 million people.
It is reported that employment rate among the citizens of working age in comparison with the data of previous year increased by 1.5% and amounted to 66.6%.
