Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said that 15 helicopter bases and a service center for French Airbus Helicopters will soon begin operations in Ukraine. About this reports the head of the MIA.
It is planned to build 15 bases throughout the country, where French helicopters will be serviced.
According to Avakov, this will provide an opportunity to create jobs, as well as place «our helicopter groups».
«At the end of October, Ukrainian personnel will go to France to study the technical capabilities of helicopters and the features of their service», the report says.
Minister of Internal Affairs also noted that the main base will be located in Nizhyn, as well as along the borders of Ukraine, but the whole system «will work as a single mechanism».
Earlier Journalist reported that Ukraine had won tender for modernization of the Turkish gendarmerie helicopters.
