This year, 184,867 graduates were registered in Ukrainian schools. This is 7,5 thousand less than in 2017. This is reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, informs Gazeta.ua.
Most graduates were from the Dnipropetrovsk region – 14.8 thousand, in Lviv region – 12.8 thousand and in the Kharkov region – 11.4 thousand. In Kiev, the school education was completed by 14.3 thousand schoolchildren. The lowest number of graduates were registered in the Luhansk region – just 2.8 thousand, in the Ternopil region – 4,2 thousand and in Kirovohrad region – 4,3 thousand.
Graduates will receive certificates after passing External independent testing (EIT) and receiving its results, on June 21. Then school balls will be helded.
As «The Journalist» earlier reported, dates and conditions for admission to Ukrainian universities were named to the entrants from the Crimea and Donbas.
