The single electronic system of professional medical examinations has been operating since September 2018 in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
It is expected that the Single Register of Medical Examinations will help to streamline professional medical examinations and will protect people against forgery of medical certificates and sanitary books.
«Professional medical examination is required for drivers, people who own weapons, and decreed persons – educators, teachers, students, public catering workers, trade. Now such examinations will be contained in a single register of medical examinations – a securely protected electronic system,» – the report said.
The results of inspections will be automatically displayed in the electronic system. A duplicate of the certificate of a medical examination can be obtained on the free of charge basis.
Note that, according to forecasts, in the future the Single Register of Medical Examinations will be integrated into the «Electronic Health» system.
