Ukrainian population decreased sharply in 2018. According to the State Statistics Service, the population of Ukraine has reduced by 165.6 thousand people in January-September 2018.
The actual population in Ukraine as of October 1, 2018 was 42,220,800 people. At the same time, it is noted that there remains a significant excess of the number of deaths over the number of births: 100 deaths per 59 births.
