The Chairman of Verkhovna Rada Andrii Parubiy has announced the Parliament’s intention to consider the draft law on the state budget for 2019 until October 20. The Speaker said this at the conciliatory council of Parliamentary factions, Radio Liberty reported.
«According to the Budget Code, the first reading should take place before October 20,» – the Speaker said.
The Draft Budget 2019 was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration on September 14.
«On September 21 the Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill for consideration. On the same day, the Government submitted a draft budget in the Parliament,» – the report said.
It is assumed that the gross domestic product (GDP) will grow by 3% next year. The Ukraine’s Cabinet hopes that inflation will be kept within 7.4% level.
