The winemakers began to harvest the grape three weeks earlier than usual this year. This is reported by UNN news agency.
The report notes that the early harvest of grapes contributed to the sun and heat. It is planned to collect from 8 to 10 tons of grapes per hectare on average.

«We note the fact that this year is not bad for the wine growers. The summer was hot, but in general the grape sugar content and the total harvest of grapes satisfies us,» – Ivan Pauk, the winemaker, commented on the harvest.

During the first five months of this year, Ukraine exported 145 thousand decaliters of wine, which is 37% more than in January-May 2017.
As The Journalist reported earlier, winemakers of France and Germany expect good results from wine production due to the heat weather.
