Author of the petition appealed to the local authorities of the city of Zhytomyr, which would ban the sale of hawthorn tincture, arguing that this product is easily accessible to local drinkers. About this reports UNN.
It is reported that this petition posted on the website of the city council and has already collected 14 out of 250 votes. By the end of the collection of signatures, 85 days remained.
This reaction of the inhabitants of the city is caused by the active use of hawthorn by some drink lovers, whereas the tincture is easily accessible due to the low price. In turn, this state of affairs may eventually respond to the tragedy, because the risk of selling fakes is high. And this, in turn, can lead to death cases.
It is worth recalling that according to doctors’ pharmacy alcoholism is gaining popularity in Ukraine.
