The chief state sanitary doctor of Ukraine Viktor Liashko has said that now 15 oblasts of Ukraine have received coronavirus test systems. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
According to the chief sanitary doctor, Ukraine expects another million test systems in the near future.
“Also, rapid tests that allow you to do research at the patient’s bedside have entered the market,” Liashko added.
He also added that the Ministry of Health is preparing decree according to which all medical institutions should cancel planned operations and hospitalizations for the period of exacerbation of the situation around the COVID-19 spread. This will free up beds in intensive care units and ventilators.
As The Journalist reported, Ivano-Frankivsk, Uzhhorod, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia enforces additional restrictions during quarantine.
