The Military Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine has returned the illegally seized premises of the Kharkiv garrison military town, located in the city center of Kharkiv, to state ownership. This is reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
In total, 15 buildings and structures amounting to a total floor area of 10.7 thousand square meters, which are located on a land plot of 2.4 hectares and worth 70 million UAH, were returned to the state.
It is noted that the abovementioned property was illegally withdrawn from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine funds and the operational management of the Kharkov Military University in 2007-2008, and later was resold several times.
As The Journalist reported, the Prosecutor’s office opened criminal proceedings on the fact of explosions near Ichnya of Chernihiv oblast under article 113 (sabotage).
