On September 3, the Rapid Trident-2018, the largest international military exercise began in Ukraine, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
As stated in the message, the opening of the Rapid Trident-2018 will start at the territory of the Hetman Sahaidachny International Peacekeeping and Security Center of the National Ground Forces Academy (village Starychi, Yavoriv district, Lviv region).
About 2,500 servicemen from 15 countries took part in the Rapid Trident in 2017. Apart from Ukraine and the United States, the troops from Canada, Bulgaria, Georgia, Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Poland , Romania, Turkey and the United Kingdom are involved in the military exercises.
As The Journalist reported earlier, the US Marines and Ukrainian troops conducted military exercises near the Crimea.
