According to the results of a survey conducted by the Center for Social and Marketing Research ‘Socis’, Ukrainians consider Donbas war, the low wages and pensions and the increase in tariffs to be the most pressing problems.
The most pressing problems for the majority of Ukrainians are the war in eastern Ukraine (63.7% of respondents) and socio-economic problems: low wages or pensions (53.1%), increase in utility tariffs (47.4%), bribery and corruption in the authorities central government (22.6%), unemployment (19.3%), higher prices for essential goods, inflation (18%), corruption in courts, police, prosecutors (16.3%) and inaccessibility of high-quality medical care (1, 3%).
In turn, Ukrainians consider the inaccessibility of quality education (2.5%) and the lack of freedom of speech and democracy (2.2%) as least significant problems.
