Water treatment plant to be built in Mariupol in two years

On May 29, the President of the French company Beten Ingenierie Jean Roche, and the Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boychenko signed a cooperation agreement. The document provides that the French company will help Mariupol to implement a number of projects, including water purification and waste sorting. This is reported by the press service of the Mariupol City Council.

“We want the water that we take from nature to be returned in even cleaner form. Our water project will solve not only the city problems, but also ecology ones. The next project we are implementing is related to municipal solid waste,” said Mayor Vadym Boychenko.

A year later, Mariupol should receive a ready draft project of water treatment plant. After that, the French company will start its construction, which will take from one and a half to two years.

As The Journalist reported, part of the residents of Donbas were left without water due to debts of the Water of Donbas enterprise.
