Photo art is an opportunity to perpetuate significant people, events and buildings in the memory of humanity. A professional photographer with the help of a camera, lens, and, more often, a photo flash, can convey feelings, emotions, and knowledge.
Analysts after studying works of professional photographers, as well as shots made by the hands of unknown figures of photo art formed the TOP of the most significant, influential and “strong” photos in history.
Photos taken at different times and with the help of the most varied photographic equipment made it to the rating.
The five most important photoes in the world:
- The invention of the flash. Created in 1957, the snapshot personifies the most important branch of the development of modern photography art. It is the result of the experiments with a stroboscope made by Dr. Harold Edgerton, or rather, the moment of collision of a drop of liquid with a water cover. Of course, the flash of that time could hardly be compared with the modern one and in general it was invented absolutely accidentally.
Important: You can see how modern NIKON flashlights look and what you can do with it at MOYO.
- The work of the famous photographer Arthur Sasse, 1951. Yes, yes, this is about the legendary photo of Albert Einstein, in which a great scientist demonstrates his own tongue to the photographer (and the whole world, respectively). According to rumors, on that day the scientist was very tired and annoyed, which explained why he responded to the banal request to smile so unconventionally. The fate of the photo is very interesting – 10 years ago it was sold at auction for almost USD 75,000.
- Photo portrait of a Latin American politician Ernesto Che Guevara, taken 69 years ago by Alberto Korda, a photo reporter. It would seem that the picture is not unusual – just the thoughtful face of a Cuban revolutionary. However, this photo was destined to become one of the most replicated frames in the world.
- “Man on the Moon”, a picture taken in 1969. Many believe that the picture shows the captain of the American crew, Neil Armstrong, but this view is wrong. In fact, Neil is directly related to the picture, but he is not in the frame, because he acts as a photographer. Edwin Aldrin, an aeronautical engineer and module pilot, strides across the surface of the moon.
- “V-J Day in Times Square”, 1945. The picture portrays a U.S. Navy sailor grabbing and kissing a stranger—a woman in a white dress has become truly iconic. Photo is considered a true symbol of sincerity, spontaneous joy and victory.
Of course, the photoes from the series “Raising a Flag over the Reichstag” (photographer Yevgeny Khaldei), and the world’s first image in color, and the oldest photo on a mobile camera, and the photo, which marked the birth of the era “Led Zeppelin” cannot be ignored.
