Militants shelled Ukrainian positions 14 times over past day in Donbas

On November 5, the illegal armed groups attacked Ukrainian army positions 14 times, one time using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. This is reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ on its official Facebook page.

«The enemy shelled our [Ukrainian] fortified positions in the areas of the settlements of Svobodne, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Novomykhaylivka, Krasnohorivka, Pavlopil and Hnutove,» the message says.

It is noted that the militants avoid active collisions, at the same time trying to maintain instability on the contact line.

«The Russian occupying forces opened aimed fire with grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. In addition, enemy resorted to 120-mm mortars to shell JFO position near Pavlopil. The most tense situation was reported in the Mariupol direction where the occupiers were most active,» the JFO press center noted.

No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day.
As The Journalist reported, about 229 mines and grenades from the Second World War were found in a local garden near Kharkiv.
