Over the past day, July 3, militants shelled Ukrainian Army positions 17 times in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation in Donbas. This is reported by the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on Facebook.
In the Lugansk sector, militants carried out armed provocation in the vicinity of the settlement of Krymske, using infantry fighting vehicles (BMP) armament and 82-mm mortar, proscribed under the Minsk Peace Agreements.
In the Svitlodarska Duha sector, Ukrainian defenders positions were attacked with the use of heavy machine guns and small arms near the village of Novozvanivka.
In the Donetsk sector, the enemy opened fire from BMP cannons, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms at the defenders of the towns of Avdiyivka and Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Katerynivka and Troyitske.
In the Mariupol sector, The Russian-backed mercenaries opened fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms near the settlements of Shyrokyne, Pavlopil, Lebedynske and Pyschevyk, They also opened fire with the use of anti-tank guided missiles against the defenders of the village of Vodiane.
No losses reported among the defenders of Ukraine over the past day.
