Over the past 24 hours, militants violated the ceasefire regime 30 times, ten times using artillery and mortars. This is reported by the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on Facebook.
«The situation in the JFO operation area was stable, the intensity of the hostilities remained the same. Russian-occupation troops opened fire 30 times on Ukrainian army positions, 10 times using artillery and mortars. JFO units were conducted an active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy, not allowing him to improve his tactical position», – the message reported.
Hostilities continued near the settlements of Krymske and Novotoshkivske in the Lugansk region. On the Horlivka direction the fighting continued near the village of Zaitseve. Combat operations continued in the Donetsk sector near the towns of Avdeevka, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka and Novotroyitske. In the Mariupol sector enemy was active near the settlement of Lebedynske.
«Militants continued shelling civilian objects. In the evening of June 4, at 21:00, the occupiers shelled the Donetsk filtration station. The staff was forced to hide in the bomb shelter and stay on duty for the second consecutive day. Information about the damage to the filtration station is being specified», – the JFO HQ noted.
There have been no casualties among the Ukrainian troops over the past day.
According to intelligence data, two enemy troops were killed and another six were wounded.
