As reported on the website of the Ministry of Social Policy, during H1 of 2018, more than UAH 4 billion were allocated to provide assistance for temporary loss of efficiency for sick leave.
It is known that more than 5 million certificates of inoperability are issued in Ukraine annually.
«Depending on the duration of the insurance period, the Social Insurance Fund fully or partially compensates for the loss of wages for the period of illness or injury, starting from the sixth day of inoperability until the restoration of health or the establishment of disability,» – the report said.
It is known that from October 1 this year a new form of application will come into effect: the employer will be able to transfer it to the Social Insurance Fund «electronically using an electronic digital signature.»
As The Journalist reported earlier, all policemen in the Poland Voivodeship took a sick leave because they were tired.
