Militants opened fire on the Ukrainian army positions 17 times over past day

On July 18, militants violated the ceasefire regime 17 times, 3 times using weapons proscribed under the Minsk Peace Agreements, in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area. No casualities reported among Ukrainian defenders. This is reported by the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation on Facebook.
It is reported that the Russian occupation forces were most active along the contact line and attacked the defenders of the settlements of Stanytsia Luhanska, Troyitske, Orikhove, Luhanske, Svitlodarsk, Pivdenne, Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Starohnativka, Lebedynske and Vodiane.
In addition, militants used 82-mm mortars three times at the area of the settlement of Svitlodarska Duha.
In the village of Stanytsia Luhanska enemy committed another act of provocation near the disengagement area to disrupt the implementation of the Trilateral Contact Group’s decision.
It is noted that there are no casualties reported among the serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on July 18.
According to intelligence data, two militants were killed and another five were wounded.
