Militants shelled JFO positions 19 times over past day. Two soldiers were killed, one wounded

On October 16, the militants attacked JFO positions 19 times, three times using weapons, prohibited by the Minsk agreements. This is informs by the press service of Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ on its page on Facebook.

It is reported that the Russian-occupation troops shelled Ukrainian positions in vicinity of the settlements Luhanske, Novozvanivka, Pisky, Maryinka, Berezove, Chermalyk, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodyane, Lebedynske and Shyrokine.
It is noted that the enemy also resorted to 120mm and 82-mm mortars, as well as weapons of infantry fighting vehicles, to shell the Ukrainian positions near Luhanske. The JFO position near the settlement of Vodyane were shelled with 82-mm mortars.
In Maryinka and Berezove, snipers opened fire at the Ukrainian military.
During the combat, two JFO soldiers were killed, another one was injured.
According to intelligence data, three militants were killed and two more were wounded during the day.
