Over the past day, July 2, militants shelled Ukrainian army 21 times positions in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation in Donbas. This is reported by the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on Facebook.
In the Luhansk sector, the situation was tense near the settlements of Krymske and Prychepylivka, where the enemy used automatic grenade launchers and small arms.
In the vicinity the Svitlodarska Duha bulge, where the Ukrainian positions came under fire from small arms near the settlements of Luhanske and Novozvanivka.
«Also, enemy shelled new positions held by the reconnaissance unit of the Joint Forces on the eastern outskirts of the village of Zolote-4», – the message said.
The Ukrainian positions in the vicinity of the settlement of Novoluhanske were attacked with the use of heavy machine guns and small arms. As a result of enemy fire, one of Ukrainian defenders was injured.
In the Donetsk sector, militants shelled from anti-tank grenade launchers on the positions of the defenders of the village of Pisky.
«The most tense situation was in the Mariupol direction, with the largest number of provocations were observed in the vicinity of the settlements Vodiane, Hnutove, Shyrokyne, Pavlopil, Chermalyk and Lebedynske. Militants used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms», – JFO HQ said.
According to intelligence data, two soldiers of the Russian occupation forces were wounded.
