Over the past 24 hours, on August 27, two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas. This is reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ on Facebook.
The militants opened fire on Ukrainian military positions 26 times, four times using weapons banned by Minsk agreements.
«Russian occupiers opened aimed fire using 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, tanks, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms,» – the report said.
The enemy fire was also recorded near the settlements of Stanytsia Luhanska, Krymske, Zolote, Luhanske, Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka, Krasnogorivka, Hnutove, Pavlopil, Lebedynske, Vodyane and Shyrokyne.
In Lugansk direction enemy used mortars near the settlement of Krymske, on Svitlodarsk direction – near Luhanske, in Mariupol direction – in areas of the settlements of Hnutove and Lebedynske. Also near the Lebedynske enemy used tanks again.
As The Journalist reported earlier, militants shelled JFO positions 43 times over the past day.
