On October 25, launched 17 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area, 4 times using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. Militants attacked Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Zolote, Svitlodarsk, Luhanske, Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodyane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne. Russian occupying troops opened aimed fire using grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
The enemy attacked JFO position near the settlement of Svitlodarsk with 120-mm mortars and armaments of the infantry combat vehicles, as well as 82-mm mortars at Ukrainian fortified positions near Luhanske and Avdiyivka.
«The JFO position near Avdiyivka came under enemy fire four times. The enemy used grenade launchers and small arms, and later 82-mm mortars. Ukrainian troops conducted an active defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy,» the message says.
It became known that one member of the Joint Forces received combat-related injuries.
In turn, according to intelligence data, one militant was killed and five another were wounded over the past day.
