Over the past day militants continued violate ceasefire regime (established from July 1 at the time of harvest). Illegal armed formations mounted 20 attacks on the Armed Forces of Ukraine positions. This is reported by the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on Facebook.
Low-intensity enemy attacks were reported in Luhansk, Popasna and Svitlodarsk sectors. Russian-backed mercenaries shelled the Ukrainian positions near the villages of Krymske, Orikhove and Novoluhanske three times.
In the Donetsk sector, the enemy fired grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms at the defenders of the settlements of Avdiyivka and Opytne.
The situation was most tense in the Mariupol sector.
«The enemy employed there grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms against the Ukrainian military 14 times, provoking them to return fire. The Joint Forces units positions near the settlements of Vodiane, Lebedynske, Shyrokyne, Hnutove, Pavlopil and Bohdanivka also came under enemy fire,» – the message stated.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, the Parliament passed a law on benefits for active military personnel.
