Militants shelled Ukraine forces 21 times in last day: one Ukrainian serviceman killed, four wounded

Over the past day, May 8, in the zone of hostilities in the east of Ukraine, militants opened fire on Ukrainian’s positions 21 times. One solider killed, another four get injures – The Joint Forces Operation HQ posted on Facebook.

«During the combat four Ukrainian military were injured, one soldier of the United forces was killed», – the report said.

Russian-occupation troops used 152-mm and 122-mm artillery, mortars near the settlements of Krymske, Popasnaya, Troyitske, , Luhanske, Zaitseve. Near the settlements of Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Shachta Butovka, Shyrokyne, combat came under small arms fire.
Recall that on May 8, militants also shelled the villages of Zaitseve and Loskutovka. As a result of artillery attack residential buildings were damaged, and some of the local citizens were left without electricity and gas.
As «The Journalist» earlier reported, the newest command and control systems will be deployed in the Donbas during the Joint Force Operation.
