Militants mounted 23 attacks on Ukrainian army positions over the past day

Over the past 24 hours, militants launched 21 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area. One Ukrainian serviceman was wounded. This is reported by the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on Facebook.

In the Donetsk sector, the enemy opened fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms near the settlements of Svitlodarsk, Novozvanivka and Novoluhanske. The enemy also opened fire from infantry fighting vehicles near the settlements of Avdiyivka, Nevelske, Novotroyitske, Pisky and Opytne.
The enemy fire was registered near the settlements of Vodiane, Lebedynske and Shyrokyne. Militants opened fire from infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms 12 times at the Ukrainian positions. A Ukrainian soldier was wounded in the action.
According to intelligence reports, one militant was killed.
