In the past 24 hours, May 23, militants mounted 38 attacks on Ukrainian army positions. Two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action, – the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reported on Facebook.

«The Russian-occupation troops, once again violated the cease-fire regime 38 times, 8 times using mortars on Ukrainian defenders positions. The Joint Forces units gave an adequate response to the enemy fire», – the message said.

The situation was most tense near the villages of Krymske, Troyitske, Zaitseve, Butivka coal mine, Hranitne, Opytne and Pavlopil.In addition, Russian occupation troops once again violated the ceasefire near the village of Stanytsia Luhanska.
Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action They are provided with qualified medical assistance in the hospital. According to intelligence data, two occupiers were killed and three others were wounded.
No casualties are reported among the Ukrainian military.
