Militants shelled Ukrainian positions 41 times over past day: two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded

Over the past day, August 13, the militants conducted 41 attacks on Ukrainian army positions, 11 times using heavy weapons. As a result, two Ukrainian servicemen were injured. This was reported by the press service of the Joint Forces Operation HQ (JFO) on Facebook.

In addition to grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms, militants used infantry fighting vehicles, anti-tank missile systems, mortars and 122-mm artillery yesterday.
The Ukrainian troops positions came under enemy fire near the settlements of Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Troyitske, Novozvanivka, Novoluhanske, Pivdenne, Maiorsk, Zalizne, Pivnichne, Opytne, Avdiyivka, Novotroyitske, Bohdanivka, Hnutove, Lebedynske, Pavlopil, Vodiane and Shyrokyne. Near Novotoshkivske militants used 122-mm artillery, in vicinity of Zalizne, Pivnichne and Bohdanivka – 120-mm mortars, and near Novozvanivka, Troyitske, Vodyane and Avdiyivka – 82-mm mortars.
As a result of the combat, two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded.
