Militants shelled JFO positions 43 times over past day: two Ukrainian servicemen were injured

Over the past day, August 15, illegal armed groups opened fire at Ukrainian Army positions 43 times in Donbas, six times using weapon, prohibited by Minsk agreements. As a result of the combat, two Ukrainian servicemen were injured. This is reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ on Facebook.

«Militants shelled the positions of defenders of the settlements of Krymske, Novozvanivka, Svitlodarsk, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Maiorsk, Maryinka, Avdiyivka, Opytne, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Novotroyitske, Novomykhailivka, Kamianka, Chermalyk, Hnutove, Lebedynske, Pavlopil, Vodiane and Shyrokyne. Along with this, the enemy shelled Svitlodarsk and Hnutove with 120-mm mortars, and defenders positions of the Krymske, Luhanske and Hnutove with 82-mm,» – the report said.

The JFO units recorded another provocation near the disengagement area near Stanytsia Luhanska. There, the occupiers open fire using small arms.
According to Ukrainian intelligence data, two militants were killed, three another were injured.
