Transcarpathian region has received 15,000 doses of vaccines against measles and 21,600 doses of pentavalent vaccines

The Government of Hungary handed over to Transcarpathian region a batch of M-M-RVAXPRO vaccines against measles, mumps and rubella, as well as a Pentaxim pentavalent vaccines, – reported the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.

Transcarpathian region has received 15,000 doses of MM-RVAXPRO vaccine and 21,600 doses of Pentaxim vaccine. The total cost of medicines is 600,000 EUR.

«We are especially grateful for the Pentaxim vaccine, which is intended for the prevention of pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis and diseases caused by a haemophilic bacteria. That is, one vaccine neutralizes five dangerous infections. The last centralized supply of Pentaxim to Transcarpathian region at the expense of the state budget was in December 2016»,- said the Chief of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal.
